No matter who you are I’m sure you have once had some self doubt about yourself. When we are stressed we can often obsess what other people think of you. Building good self esteem is all about having resilience: you can’t control what others say or think of you, but you can control your opinion of yourself. When you are healthy in mind, body and spirit, you are rewarded with self confidence and the only opinion that matters should be your own.
When we are young ..we sure can be insecure and worry about what others think and say about US but as we age ( hell I know at 35) who gives a shit. Sure take on constructive comments but learn to accept others opinions won’t always match our own. I’m always saying to my boy WE’LL HAVE TO AGREE TO DISAGREE! Don’t be afraid to speak your own mind as long you don’t offend or intentionally hurt someones feelings( not nice indeed) be tactful and respectful and people will always remember you for that and treat you the same.
